How do you disable the Windows XP firewall? I wanna see if people on Limewire will chat to me if i have that disabled. I dont know if it will make a difference, but its worth a try!

It won't make a difference. Leave the firewall up, even though it does very little to protect you. I've been using LimeWire since version 2.8 (however long ago that was, I can't remember) and no-one has ever chatted with me. Good luck.
