You mean the Gnutella net should shut down which it may be forced to shut down. Many other P2P nets already have been forced to shut down. Then LimeWire / Bearshare / Frostwire / Sharezza / Phex / etc. will all be shut down and thus the software useless. LimeWire in it self is legal what any of us may do with it may or may not be legal we each have to make a choice.

And any copyrighted material is Illegal to download in the U.S. unless you have a license for it. I or no one else in this forum is trying to B.S. ourselves or you make your own choice but if you do choose to be involved in Illegally activities do not talk about it in this forum it is against the rules.

for some of you guys that got such lousy virus scaners, i think bitdefender is the best. i got mcafee 2006 which came with me dell pc & norton which came with my girlfriends hp pc. downloaded a bunch zip folder and i started have'n problems. ran mcafee 2006, found some viruses, still had problems. uninstalled and installed norton 2006, found some viruses, still had problems.

i decided to look for the best anti virsus software @ pcworld.com (http://www.pcworld.com/article/124475-1/article.html) got bit defender and found so much that mcafee and norton didn't, viruses, ads, hijacks, worms, ect....

just try the free trial and trust me you'll end buy'n it after you use it.

thanx for your immediate reply grandpa. i will visit that website that you posted & i hope i will understand whatever instruction will be given to me by that site cause to tell you the truth im not good in computers.i've read in some forum, not in this forum that it is very hard to remove about:blank & when i try to read the instructions for removing that thing,i have a doubt that i can do it.i've read also in that forum that to remove about:blank the easiest way, scan it with xoftspy which is not free.i tried to download xoftspy & it detects some malware/spyware that is not detected by spybot & ad aware that i have here.but to delete the things that has been scanned by xoftspy, that's it!you have to pay first for some code/key thing.i hope there are still antispyware out there for free which can do the same thing as xoftspy.thanx to all the people here in this forum who gave us computer ignorants unsolicited advice.for me the more i read in this forum, the more i become educated.sorry for my english!!!

Default Found some viruses, how do I warn Limewire and users?

I found some files with Trojans in them (and I don't mean safe sex), how do I warn Limewire and users? Can Limewire block the user from posting? I have blocked the hosts on my own but don't want others to get the viruses. DO NOT DOWNLOAD FILES 3462 IN SIZE, THEY WILL JUST REDIRECT YOU TO ANOTHER SITE. ALSO, THESE FILES ARE INFECTED:
