Program freezes on language option page

Hey all,
New user here, and I am having a problem. After I installed limewire 4.8.1, I can't get it to work. The program stops at a page labled Language Option. I tried fixing the firewall adding gnutella like it says to in the help area, but no luck. Any ideas how to fix it?
