Default Viruses

Does anyone realize that limewire has over 3000 viruses on it? yeah, every file that was in my uploads bin was infected with the W32.Spybot.Worm file and you cant delete them cause as soon as you log in again it reloads them again. It has infected my whole computer and my Norton Antivirus wont get rid of them because there are so many of them. If anybody knows why there is this infection then, help!

Well you shouldn't downld exe files & should be wary of files that are obviously too small for what you are seeking. You should also keep your anti-virus definitions up to date. See LimeWire continually Popping up every few seconds & also Opening at System Startup for one way of getting rid of them.
Also WORM_VB.AS
& also How to get limewire to quit popping up every few seconds

You can also do an Online scan: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hous...start_corp.asp

couple of things here, first, Norton sux, get avast, second if its not in zip or rar file form, dont download, you can't scan it first if thier not and it the virus is automatically unleashed on your computer. third, be careful

Default OK...did the anti-virus...

and the spyware destroyer and yet STILL everytime I load LW I go from sharing 524 files to over a thousand in just a few minutes. I KNOW that there is some virus or worm or something, but all three anit-viruses, spyware detectors, etc., have not found anything.

Any solutions??? It's freaking my c: drive out!!

Thanks
