'Browse Host'

When i'm downloading a file and i right click on the download there's an option to browse the host to look at what else they're sharing, but sometimes i get an error box that tells me i'm unable to browse the host, why does this happen?

It may be for a no. of reasons. They might be poorly configured meaning you can't browse them. Perhaps the connection strength is not strong enough (perhaps due to traffic). Perhaps they don't have enough open slots. It's difficult to pin point why. They might not have chat enabled or it could be a different p2p share program that doesn't support chat.

Ohhh i see, ah well not to worry, i just thought it was another part of the conspiracy to stop me being nosey Thanks anyway.

Hahaha actually I utilise browse on a daily basis & is very important to my techniques of finding files (or continuing them.) I find it so so useful & some of the more experienced users will tell you the same thing.

* Make sure you configured your firewall properly: Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If false then something is partially blocking your LW.


Did you configure your firewall so it allows LW full access (advisable not to have 2 active firewalls b/c they can interfere with each other); Firewall configuration instructions (click on link)
