Hi manta
In LW tools>options>speed ---- Ultrapeer Capabilies --- if this this box is unchecked, and you are capable of being a UP, LW will automatically switch you if the networks needs you as a UP. This is an automatic feature of LW. It normally takes me from 1 to 3 hours for LW to detect and swith to UP mode after a fresh install or if I have had LW closed for any significant amont of time.
