 I heard of problems with a lot of dead pixels with lower end Dell LCD displays. Then, when you try to exchange or repair a monitor that's still under warranty they won't let you send it back for a replacement. I've heard of several nightmares like that, one even with a $700 21" LCD. It's just things like that that make me never want to buy a Dell product. My $0.02. deepblue
