Is anyone else having problems extracting akai sound sample disks?

I have downloaded many Akai ISO's, NRG's and Bin's, but I cant extract them in any way.

The ISO's I try to extract using utilities such as WinIso but cant, get this message saying "unreadable sectors" or "unsupported or damaged file".

The BIN's I try to convert to ISO's but cant. I get these vague error messages instead.

When I download these files as .RAR or .ZIP I cant extract them using any unRAR or unZip utility. Just the Cue files get extracted but nothing else.

Hope someone can help. These Akai disks come from various sources and have been collected at different times. The files range in size from 12MB to 650MB.

If it helps I have Win XP on a P4. Also, I have tried unsuccesfully to image burn the ISO's with the Cue's on a CD-R through Nero but havent been able to for some reason. It makes me think it has burned the image but when I try to read the disk later there is nothing on the CD-R. Wierd.
