cannot create cd with certain songs.

I downloaded several songs via the limewire software and was wanting to listen to the songs before I made a cd and I can't. The song title turns orange and has an ! before it. I can listen to the songs on limewire but not on windows media.

what is the point of being able to download if I can only listen to it on the computer?

Are there any ideas or work arounds?

I am new to lime wire and having the same problem, I downloaded about 50 songs and only one of them could be used in media player. I don't just want to listen on my computer, i would like to make CDs.

Spammed or deliberately corrupt files. Check Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see) & learn to recognise the spam from the good files.
