Question cant download a replacement installation file.

I have purchased and paid for limewire pro. -

I have tried to download a replacement but it says it cannot find my email address.

I tried to goto support and click the "contact us" link which redirects to a 4 option link page. It says that if you cannot click the link then click the link below that says to fill out the form that leads to another webpage to purchase the pro again..
does not offer a real contact for others.

I have tried to goto the "contact us " for the pro but ti doesnt reconize my email addresss even though I have paid.

I believe I was given a discount since I have purchased it before. I cannot recall the exact amount but think it was around 14.99

Ok , seems like I must appologise for insinuating that you were the one of the "legion of the scammed" as they are affectionately known in these parts.

I am not in the know as to the inner workings of LW but if you last payed over six months ago, you will no longer be eligible for free updates of pro. and as I said I have not heard of any discounts being given or offered.

I believe your best approach is either to use the feedback form, which I gather does lead to a reply in a few days at: http://www.limewire.com/english/cont...egory=feedback

or e-mail feedback @limewire.com

These two avenues are possibly one and the same, and the subject line is important in that you don't want your mail to be overlooked as a trivial mail from a basic user.

I hope this helps and good luck!

Hey not a problem at all! With all the mistif going on-line these days it is very easy to get scammed. Thank you for the warning though. I did contact paypal to validate the date that I purchased limewire and it was at the end of January, 2005 for 14.60. But they were able to give me a contact number and email to contact limewire. But If it is only 6 months then I have wore my welcome out and need to pay the devil his dues..

Thank you very much for your help
It is greatly appreciated

I have encountered the same problem... offered a discount for re-renewing mebership...subscribed legitimately through limewire.
Does anyone know the date that this latest version (4.9) was released?

The discount question is an interesting one and a comment from Limewire would be welcomed.

I agree, I have purchased for at least a year an some odd months ( 6 month interv.). But I paid through paypal and was able to validate that it was going to Limewire.

Yet still even after emailing sales@limewire.com I have yet to get a response.
