Do you have a 56 kbps or 56 KB/s speed. 56 kbps is what dial up generally uses. That equates to about 7 KB/s (remember 8 kilo bits per second = 1 KiloBytes/s or 2 nibbles/s lol .) Do a speed check here (choose nearest country or try a couple): http://www.t1shopper.com/tools/speedtest/

There are utilities that claim to do it but they don't work for p2p purposes, only for browsing/surfing.
