I am really confused will some one please help me?
 

About three months ago I urged my mom to get me Lime Wire. She gave me her debit card number and I filled out the information on the website. When the order went through it gave me link right away to download Lime Wire. I did and saw a message which read update to Lime Wire Pro, I thought nothing of it. Well a couple of weeks ago I discovered lime wire can be downloaded for free off of the site, so now I’m wondering what I paid the $18.88 for? I am really confused will some one please help me?

There is an ad-supported free version of LimeWire and a Pro version of LimeWire. Almost the only difference between the two versions is that the Pro version is not ad-supported and LimeWire will provide customer support. The programs work almost the same. Pro is mostly for those who like LimeWire and want to support the developers and further development of the program. I hope that this has answered your questions.

but I already paid 18.88, is that just for basic service? or do I have to pay another 18.88 for pro. I dont think i have pro because every thime i log in it ask me to update to pro? please someone help

When you bought Pro you should have been directed to a personal download page. If not, you can use the information you used the sign up for the service and enter it here to retrieve the page. Make sure you bookmark it this time!

You should have recieved a reciept for it in the email account you provided. Are you sure that you downloaded LimeWire from the *OFFICIAL* website? There are a lot of scam sites out there...

I new it, is there any thing at all I can do, I was 17 and used my moms number without her permission. would this help?

The only one who can do anything about it is your mother. You should probably tell her before she finds out . They may be charging things to her card and ripping her off. It would be better to tell her what you did than have her loose all her money.
