I joined limewire out of good faith, paid the fees to join the basic "life_time one off payment", go tot he next page, PAY more fees for protection that I dont need (I can protect my own PC) THEN, I log into limewire, only to find they bug you to update for MORE money, already, what I believed was going to cost me roughly 20$AU has cost me over 40$ for a so-called LIFETIME ONE OFF FEE...

Im thinking Im going to get legal advice on this one...... because it seems too fishy to me!

I'm afraid you are being taken for a ride, but not by Limewire. The only thing Limewire is trying to get you do is to update from the Basic version which as you know is free and is what you have "purchased"... to their pro version, which all basic users have to put up with. Limewire has nothing to do with the money you have paid and does not see a penny or a cent of it.
