As a new Limewire user, I have a number of winMX files that are unfinished. Is it possible to resume them with Limewire?
I have dropped them into the incomplete folder but when I hit resume, I get a message "The file (filename) is not a valid incomplete file and cannot be resumed." |

You are aware that WinMX dont use Gnutella network??

Does this mean the files are completely incompatible? Or is there a way to get around this? |

Not Comparable the link below is for a patch that will help you get back onto WinMx and complete you files. If you still have WinMx installed.

GrandPa's right--incompletes from other programs can't be used with LimeWire.
Re the WinMX problems, http://p2pnet.net/story/6616 should also be useful. |
