Hi,
It seems that every new version of limewire gets more and more hungry for computers resources... I am using a P4 3.2GHZ with 1024 RAM (not a febal machine), however I unable to run limewire (or share my files, over 3000 of them) as often as i would like because of it's HUNGER. It seems to slow down everything, from surfing the net to the opening up of 'my computer'. It does this to such an extent, that i am forced to turn off limewire when i am phisically on the computer. *My OS is Windows XP and i run limewire 4.8.1 because of this reason* Last edited by crawler_nt; October 30th, 2005 at 08:04 AM. |

Increase your Page File
Right-click my computer, then click propteries. then click Advanced tab, then in a Performance box, click setting. then it will bring up the performance window, click on advanced tab, then click change, at the custom size, put the initial number at 500, then put maximum number to 1000 then click apply then try your limewire |
