i do not appear to have a firewall???

can sum1 please help me? when i am using limewire it does not detect a firewall. i am using zone alarm, and occasionally there is a wall in front of the little globe but most of the time it is not there!! is this normal? i have setup the firewall to ask for permission for limewire and all java programs but ????????

Usually, that is right, when LW and Java are working properly with your firewall the little wall, in front of the globe, will vanish.

If the wall stays in front of the globe you will find that LW will not be able to connect to the internet.

So all in all, your system is working the way it should.

thankq so much, i can stop worrying that sumthing weird is goin on

would any1 happen 2 have any idea on why i cant get a decent connection speed, last night it was 100 kB/s now i it wont go over 15!!!!!!! (and no i havent used up my download amout)

advice is greatly appriciated.
