Whether Pro is worth the $18.88 or not is a matter of opinion and connection type and the type of files you are downloading.

If you have a fast connection and DL files that are rarer then Pro usually will find more sources thus theoretically faster DL. If you are on dial-up or some other slower type connection you probably will see no improvement.

I am on cable and I am capable of DL at 600Kbs. I have run Pro and basic at the same time on numerous occasions and have always done slightly better with pro but even if I did not I would still run pro just because I applicate what the LimeWire developers have done in the development of P2P software.
