okay. limewire is bugging the **** out of me. first of all, every time it comes on it asks me to upgrade to limewire pro. i also read that limeiwre basic is free, but whatever version i have, i paid for! so i tried to sign in to the limewire pro site, and it said that i dont have limewire pro. what the hell?

also, limewire starts up CONSTANTLY on my computer. i can never just turn it off. i will shut it down, and it says 'limewire is shutting down,' and then two minutes later it starts up again on it's own accord. what can i do to stop this? it's driving me insane!

For problem #1, to find out if you really have LW Pro, see Shows About LW Pro (click on link) ie: LW's menu bar, Help>About LW. It should say Pro. If not, you don't have pro & didn't pay for it thru the official LW site. You must have paid for it at a scam site who directed you to the downld page for the free version aka LW Basic. However if you do have Pro, then you must have purchased it more than 6 mths ago as LW Pro offers free updates & support for 6 mths only.
