I have a question for anyone who will answer it. My "Enable Chat" box in Limewire Basic is checked, but i don't know how to chat on Limewire Basic. If someone would help me out, that'd be great. Thanks

You cant chat with a fellow host unless their chat has been enabled. You will see the smile icon if the host has theirs enabled and seldom does the chat actually work anyway.

i love to chat on limewire. the biggest problem is: by the time you have written a message they have already uploaded/downloaded and are gone. if you want to chat with someone, start with a slow mover. they will be there for awhile, so they might like the distraction. the other problem of course is people don't know they have enabled chat. don't know how to use it. or don't want to.
