Angry Wont accept incoming connections>???

Hey there i need some help and was hoping that maybe someone has had this problem or knows what to do??Whenever i open limewire and choose direct connect i have have a message sayin "Your computer is behind a firewall or router and cannot recieve incoming connections"......This is even with the windows firewall turned of...and also my norton disabled....I am runnin XP sp2...i live in melb.australia...the person i am tryin to connect to is in the U.S....i can however connect to her and veiw her file no problems.....i dont have any othe firewalss installed.....and am runnin ADSL broadband....I hope someone can help...
