Unknown Folder Popped Up in Library

For some strange reason there is a folder that says "Individually Shared Files" folder or something in my library. I don't know how it got there or what to do to remove it. Could someone shed some light on this situation for me please.

The Individually Shared Files folder shows files shared independent of the folder they are in. To share a file individually, right-click a folder, then select "Share New File." The file will be added to the Individually Shared Files list. Please note that this folder is visible only if you have individually shared files
