New to forum and have a question about basic/pro

Hi to all. I have a question. I had to pay to get LimeWire Basic and now they are saying it is free and costs to get Pro. Does anyone know why this is and what can be done? I know I paid close to $40.00 for the basic awhile back.

You we're scammed by the site you bought basic from. Limewire basic is free. There are a lot of scam sites that prey on people who don't know and charge for basic then either sell them an old or corrupt version, or just link them to the free site.

The official site is here: www.limewire.com Basic is free Pro costs USD$18.88 and gets you 6-months free updates and Pro support.

You should try and get your money back from the scam site and also contact your cc company. They should have a fraud dept that can help you out. You may also want to consider cancelling your cc because the scam site now has your billing info. and might charge you for things you didn't want.
