![]() This is my 1st message, although I use LW for 2 years. I have McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PeerGuadian2, Spybot, SpywareBlaster and Ad-Aware installed, and verify my system regularly. My greatest problem is the 134.4 kb sized spam. I usually search for 5 album titles. Searching for Ab Cd , the result set contains one or more from Ab Cd, AB CD, ab cd, a_b c_d, A_B C_D , ..... , each with 10-80 copies. I set the filter to Don't Display and Strict. With less sensitivity there was no change. After I mark one as junk, LW removes that line and in the search title I see (0/nn). But after a repeated search the spam is displayed again as Junk 100%, the search title looks like (kk/nn) or even (nn) - i.e. only partly or nothing filtered. I can only remove this line by marking as Not Junk and then Junk, but after a research I always will get the spams again. Can any one help me ? Thanks. |

![]() The spam filter learns. So each time you add something as junk, it will learn more. Initially you may need to add quite a few items as junk before it becomes more effective. Under LW's menu, Tools>Options>Filters>Junk you can adjust how strong to apply it. Adjust the slider to the right to make it stronger. I found the usual autospam such as the ipod & mp3 spam the easiest to filter out. When you set the filter to not show spam results, I'm not sure why it sometimes continues to do so. Perhaps it's still in the learning process. ![]() As far as your search terms go, that's certainly not how I'd search to find an album. I don't see many titles with the word cd within it. If you want to downld albums why not consider albumwrap or search terms like title - album, or title - complete, etc. or just the title of the album or artist - title. BTW if you're using LW, you don't need 2 firewalls. Do this test: Bug Report instructions & sample image Is the result True/False? If true then that's fine. |

![]() I know that the spam filter learns, the problem is only that it never filter fully for me. I tried today 4 hours, it always learns, never works. So now I can see the icon, 100% and not only the 134.4 size. I think in this case a size filter with from and to value would be much better, no learning algorythm. Sorry, Ab Cd was only an example for two words representing an album title. Only Zonealarm is firewall, McAfee is the virusscan, and the bug reports View Example shows: Received incoming this session: true. Thanks for the reply. |
