I downloaded a program from LimeWire && I don't know how to get it onto my computer so I can use it...
usually, I only download songs-- && there's a button to automatically save the song files onto your computer to use them with your player... but OBVIOUSLY it's different for programs... I need HELP

hello.... if it's a zip. file or rar. etc.. etc... your better off creating a new folder somewhere & unzip there. watch out 4 viruses though.

for example... if it's a zip file, right click in a space on your desktop, NEW FOLDER, (name as you wish), drag and drop the file from limewire into your new folder, unzip with your current software,( in the new folder). it's quite complicated if it's a badly compiled file, there can be many ways to make a program work, it might not be compatable with your p.c. i'll need more info if the basic steps i have provided do not work. if it's an ISO file you will need to convert it directly to disc with the appropriate software. If this is no help, I need to now what your trying 2 open & what system your running (windows xp, linux etc...etc....) any info u can provide. cheers !
