![]() Hi, I've downloaded a number of avi movie files and I can't get the bloody things to play! Whenever I double click on them a nero box pops up and says initializing but then nothing happens. When I try opening the files with media player it just says that there was an error and they can't be played. When I pass the cursor over the symbol to the left of all of the movie files available in limewire it says "Nero Media file" so does that mean they can only be played on Nero? I don't think I've ever downloaded Nero, but why then would a nero box pop up? Was it automatically downloaded with limewire? Can I get a free download from anywhere? All the files I've found ae only trial versions. Bit confused about it all, hoping for some help... Thanks, Jane |

![]() Try the VLC player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ I'm a little puzzled by the Nero question, but if you get vlc and make it your default video player I have a hunch the nero issue will go away. Let us know how it goes |
