I just signed up for limewire at a one off basic price, on their website of £12, I have just looked at my credit card staement on-line to find that I have been charged £32 for limewire basic!!! Why is this???

You've been scammed. Limewire basic is free. Read the red sticky at the top of the forum for advice on getting your money back.

shankillbabe EXACTLY which site did you purchase LW from and is the price given as a US$ conversion price... in which case you will see a US$ price on your statement, or a straight sterling price?

I'm afraid I think limewire is right, but ...just checking.
