AVI files

Having trouble playing files that are AVI. I am using windows media player. They use to work on here but now only half do. Also i see that when its starting up to play its says codec error and will play the sound of the file but not the pic. Anyone know what I could do?

AVI's normally need a DivX codec. You can download it for free from www.divx.com. :)

IVE USED A COUPLE OF THE PROGRAMS TO CONVERT THE FILES BUT THEY ALL USE WATERMARKS ON THE VIDEO UNLESS U PAY THEM DO U KNOW OF ANY THAT DONT DO THIS?

What's wrong with the watermark? It's so small you can hardly see it.:confused: :rolleyes:
