Ok I'm new here and probably in the wrong forum. Forgive me if i am. I'm having a problem with limewire. No matter what i search for, nothing shows up in the list. Why is this?

A few questions, what's your OS? Where did you download Limewire from? And what version are you using?

I'm on windows XP, running limewire 4.9.11 and i got it from download.com. It seems to be working fine now though. Maybe it was my internet connection. Thanks anyway

You have got limewire from a scam site and as far as I know the new LW is 4.10, get rid of it off your computer and get your money back as LW basic is free, the copy you have is a dud and is probably filled with spyware and stuff get the official LW from

Oh now Im confused (blonde moment), is download.com a legit site?, If you got LW from there why did it give you 4.9.11 what is that version?????

If you go to download.com and look for the top 10 downloads, by scrolling to the bottom right of the home page, you will see the link there. Anyway it's working fine now. I think the problem was with my connection. Thanx for all your help
