??adware "mpcsr.exe"

I was having comp probs so i searched every process that was running, i found two trojens, one was mpcsr.exe., the other im unable to remember. i ended both and now my computer worked great. i just upgraded my limewire to 4.10 and started having probs again, low and behold that process was running again. that program hasnt shown up in over 2 weeks and all i did was the upgrade and there it was. now, i do understand limewire says it doesn't have adware or spyware but i was wondering if it could be explained. and we all know that any deceant spyware program detects 2 adwares.

If you got your version of LW from the official site, it will be clean. Get a scam version & it could contain anything. Certain spyware & adware removal programs might detect LW as either or both. Not true. False positives. eg older versions of No-adware always found LW and this is because it was a crap program. I think the newer versions of No-adware have improved a bit.

Reliable programs are Spybot & Ad-Aware (both free)

i did get it from the official site through my limewire program. try looking up mpcsr.exe, you will find the first few to not make any sence b/c it's in a programing mode, the rest are in chinese, download the translation packet and it lists it as trojan. and am very cirtain that limewire loads it. and why is there any adware "false" triggers anyway in all spyware programs. now, im not upset but i think i might try rhapcity and see how they are otherwise i guess ill live with it and continue to monitor my processes every day. thank you for your response.

Why are there false triggers?? Because the company want you to think you're under threat & buy their program Oldest trick in the book.

i downloaded from the offical www.limewire.com and clicked the big red get it now. but thanks hopefully someone else will have some better insight

Congratulations for downloading LW from the official site. Perhaps it's your AV, spyware or adware removal programs that are second rate.

Hopefully someone else will be able to make you see sense.
Somehow, I doubt it.

*Or maybe you've just been careless with your downloading & have got some trojans all by yourself.
