It would seem that there are more of out here who had the same thing happen. Give the cash, and poof... nothing happens.

The card has been debited, but the license hasn't arrived for PRO. What gives guys?

Limewire scam..don't fall for it...
 
I'm afraid the same has happened with me. Bought a 2 year subscription to full movie access, and have all the paper work saying I bought the pro version and no link to get it. Sadly you have to buy the product to get the
access to these forums...I think..Chicken and egg scenario. Tried phoning the states support number and they leave you hanging on the phone. Unfortunately I think its all a scam. Very disappointing

BTW I suspect those 'new message' links time out after a while. A little like giving a link to search results. In a similar fashion to new threads having unique numbers in order as they're made. Upon closer inspection ... perhaps I'm wrong! I am wrong about the message id's.

Hi,

I'm Petronella from South Africa.....and like all here I have paid for membership in "Limewire Pro" . And like all here the money {R117.00} was takenfrom my credit card, in fact twice, because I had a error message and then try again, then I went to my bank and there my statement shows that there was two transactions of the same amount to "Limewire"of R117.00.

I can't get into Limewire to get my problem solved, they ask for the e-mail address what I used when I registered, but when I try it deny my E-mail address, as not known.

Seems I have fall for the same scam.

Need help
 
Hi,

I'm Petronella from South Africa. I have paid by Credit card a subscribtion for Limewire Pro, I paid R117.00 in South Africa money. I in fact paid twice the same amount, because with the first one I got an error message, so I tried a second time. I then went to my Internet banking site and it show me a double payment for Limewire.
Ever since then I try to either download Limewire Pro or Upgrade the free version, but with no success. Everytime I try I either get the buy it window, and if I go to the download it ask for my e-mail address of what I use when I subscribe, and when I put it in, it tell me that the e-mail address is not right.
When I ask for help the same thing happen, I get asked for a e-mail address and then get told my address is not right.
So please I need help here, this is to me a headache in the full.
