Here is an example. You MAY have a folder on your computer called 'my music' (this is where you would upload songs from a cd that you already own so you can listen to them). You open the folder up and click on a song in the folder. Drag the file to your itunes library. Then drop the song into the library. This process will also work with a shared folder.

Thumbs up

okay so... yes, there is a pretty simple way to save your music to your itunes account. No, if youve tried drag and drop i'm sure you already know that it doesnt work. Follow this procedure.
1) go to your start menu and click 'my documents'
2) under 'my documents' create a new folder that you willl recognize as your lime wire music.
3) open your limewire library and on the left sidebar click on 'audio' woth the little music note.
4) once you see all of your saved music, at the bottomb of the page there is a grey folder titled ' Save As...' click that
5) select your newly made folder for limewire music and click 'save'
6) open up your itunes library
7) go to the top of the page and click 'file' then 'add folder to library'
8) select your newly made folder and click 'open'

it may automatically make a new playlist for your limewiremusic. You can still get your music to your ipod the same way but i had a problem where my 'katie's ipod' got erased from that side column and i know there is a way to get it back but i havnt toyed around with that enough. If you have any more questions you can email me or just repost and i will check the forum. 1)
