Help - Compatability question
I am trying to download and run limewire on Win 95 (I know, ancient, but it's the only option I have at the moment). It says on the download page that LW is compatible with Win 95, and I had no trouble downloading and installing it, however the version of java that is supported by win95 is not enough to run LW.
Have I missed something or am I fighting a losing battle? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated, and even suggestions of similar programs to LW that are free to download and will run on Win95 are very welcome

Try the "Offline" Java 1.5 (take the JRE) & see if that installs.
