I likewise use Verbatim RW disks for dvd for home use.
Nero 7 is very good, unless you'd prefer something free or cheap.
"If" you're burning VCD's, remember to burn them at minimum speed. VCD's are very sensitive about burn speed. Otherwise most dvd players that can play vcd's won't be able to play them if they're burnt at high speeds.
Something else to see Downloading Format for DVD's, where if you have one of the newer set top players, they can play data dvd's with mpeg4, divx/xvid. Or you choose divx format using your burner program (I use roxio) which converts them. |
