Shared folder problem

Hope I'm posting this in the correct forum!

I have a problem with Limewire....I must have DL something with a 'bug'. I began to notice that my "Shared" folder was filling (and I DO MEAN FILLING......as many as 5,000 files at one point), with stuff I had not downloaded.

I uninstalled Limewire, reinstalled and same problem. Even when Limewire was uninstalled my "Shared" folder filled up. I had to delete shared folder.

If anyone can give me a clue why this happened, I'd sure appreciate it.......
