Closing Programs
I just need to know what programs I should close, and which ones to leave open while downloading a file, in order for it to download more quickly, without making the computer malfunction. Any help on this would be appreciated.

Not using any other program that takes a lot of bandwidth will help your downlds continue at the rate that they can. ie: not using other p2p programs at the same time or playing net games or video conferencing, or downlding files.
