Last week I registered for LimeWire Pro. I have a receipt ID and the money has disappeared from my bank account, but I have heard nothing. How will I know if I have upgraded? Do I get an e-mail or is there some other way? I am a bit of an amateur, so if there is something I have missed could someone tell me please. Thanks

You should've been sent an email with a link to your personal download page for pro.

If you got pro from another site, you were scammed. There's a sticky at the top of this page about membership, it has info & advice on what to do about scams.

Is there a drastic difference from regular free Limewire to Limewire Pro?

It all depends on the speed of your connection. If yo have dial-up or another slow connection there is most likely no difference.

If you have a fast connection there should be a difference, but not everyone seems to notice it, so I don't reaaly know what to say.

limewire pro has a special skin , you can connect to more sources , better search results and i forget what else. lol

how do you know youve been scammed, i tried to buy lime wire pro and eneded up with 360 pro, they seem to have the same web address or am i being stupid?

if you dont download from limewire.com and if you didnt get limewire pro from limewire.com which by the way is $ 18.88
