I signed up for Lime Wire and paid on March 13 and have not received a confirmation e-mail yet. The charge has hit my credit card statement, but I cannot get started because I have no log-in information. I have sent several messages via "feedback" and have no phone number to call...please help!! Here is at least some details:

How much did you pay? Where did you get the Order ID from. Is there not a phone number on your credit card statement.. I guess you haven't seen the statement yet.

I assumed I would get an e-mail conf. right away, but didn't get anything. It did show up on my statetment as mydownloading.com as the confirmation said, but with no contact info. There is NO contact info. anywhere on the website either, so that is why I'm posting on the forum. If I can't get anywhere here, I'll have deny charges and...what do you suggest?

Sorry to tell you but this is a scam. Pro costs US$18.88 & gives you free upgrades & email support for 6 months. You might have been redirected to the LW download page, but it's not the official version. There's no lifetime membership & no dodgy add-ons like spyware protection & codecs You can get good codecs & spyware protection for free, you shouldn't have to pay for it.

You should contact your CC company & have them cancel the transaction. Most have a department that deals with fraud/scams. They might recommend that you cancel the card, I'm not sure. The only place to get a clean version of LW is www.limewire.com
