Are Proxys really save?
Hy @ all,
I would like to ask if I use a paid Proxy with Limewire pro, does it really make using Limewire safer or are there any dangers so that you could still be seen by the police or so? -Jan-

safe is relative....said paid proxy service is keeping records, and if you've been paying attention to the news lately the Federal Government has succeeded in making Google fork over gmail stuff...so, to me it is obvious that if they wanted, they could get access to your records also...
but, IMO, you are safer than the average person who is not using a proxy...as in the case of filesharing, its the **AA you are worried about, not the FBI...unless of course you are sharing Kiddie Porn, then I hope you rot in a rat infested cell for the rest of your life
