Firewalled

Hi LOTR, thats the IP I put in 10.0.0.1, does that mean that when I disconnect it will go back to having a firewall...When I followed the directions all the boxes were blank so I added the subnet, the default gate and the DNS manually and I put 10.0.0.1 in the IP box, have I stuffed it up lol...

No that sounds find to me. That seems to be the way the instructions put it. So if it doesn't work next time you connect, review the instructions again. Once it's right you can forget all about it.

I just shut the computer down and started back up and guess what NO firewall, thankyou thankyou to you LOTR and Grandpa for all your help it is truely appreciated...

Hi, Im not really sure what all these abbrev. stand for but downloaded Limewire a while ago & was working fine but then I got updates on my computer and when I search for items nothing happens. Think Im behind a firewall, followed the instructions on the limewire support website to right click on firewall but cant change the settings to put Limewire as an exception. Any suggestions anyone? Its driving me insane.
