Hey, i'm trying to download a particular song. Everything downloads fine, but after the download finishes, i click preview file, and all I hear is a static, like an out-of-frequency radio. This happens with every single option for that song i try to download. What's causing this? Is it copyrighted?

What player are you using as your default player??

I'm using windows media player. i tried using the limewire player, but the same thing happens. It may be the format that's not right, cos all i hear's the noise.

Maybe all the options for that song aren't a good rip are they all MP3s or another format??

hmm, they are all mp3s. but it seems quite odd that every other option i try is the same. yeah, maybe they're bad files, possibly all coming form the same source.
