i downloaded some video files (100-200 mb) and i have lot of them.. i want to compress them.. theyre in .avi format.. anyone known of a good program to use to compress them to make them smaller?

Compressing files will make them lose quality, but if you're really set on doing this WinRAR is a good program, but it's not free.
Please do not share any files that you have compressed !! You can get it here: http://www.rarlab.com/ But still I don't recommend doing this |

If they're taking too much room on your computer, get a few memory sticks or external hard drives and put them in there
