Chance of Virus?

Hi, I am thinking about getting Limewire but I am scared of getting a virus because I use my brother's PC and he would kill me if I got one

.

I only plan on d/ling .mp3 music files. I have Nortan Internet Security, so is there any way I can get a virus just from d/ling music files. Also, I know what size the files should be so I won't download rediculously sized files.
