Automatic loading of new version

Has anyone else experience the automatic loading of version 4.12.3? I can't figure out how to turn this off. I may have to uninstall of I can't control when it loads.

If you mean Limewire popping up every few seconds even after you closed it, then I'm afraid that you caught a virus

I found the thread talking about the virus. Like the user who found the solution, my virus software did not catch it either. I followed his written instructions, and all is well.
