New TO LIMEWIRE...not to P2P sites.
After downloading through limewire I try to extract or open files (program files). ALL of them either say I do not "have permission" to open them or refuse to open in some way. Why is this and how do I get past it? Thanks SOOO much for the help, anyone.

How large are they? Are they less than 1,000 KB (1 MB)?

The files are over 1MG. I didn't have this trouble on eDonkey or any other site, so I think the problem is program specific, probably a setting, etc.
Is there a way to open them? Thanks. |

Try this utility: http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/ It might just do the job.
