My idea was to have a dedicated thread to which we all could contribute (if we wanted to) that would address specific areas of mp3 files. Sort of like this...

Gonna have a look at that Mp3Gain thing. I do not normalize when backing up CD's because of the quality loss, so that tool might just come in handy.
