More help please!! with Nero 7

I've burned a few DVD's now no problem.

All of a sudden I'm having a problem with one movie.

I'm doing this:

Make your own DVD-video
Add Video Files (it's an .avi)
Then I hit next until I get to the screen with the burn button, and when I hit it I get this message:

Unable to prepare data for recording:Prepare session failed:Transcoding of video failed.

I never got it before and I'm doing the same thing. WTF????

Just a guess but probably a codec issue. Been having a few of those myself, not errors, but picture and sound going out of sync.

Are you using the newest version? (Nero7 Reloaded)

Hmm, okay thanks. I have Nero 7 do I just have to update?

It's wierd because I can play it in Nero, so doesn't that mean I have the right codecs?

I hate being so clueless!!

If you can play it no problem, then you have the codec. Then something else is wrong. Space could be an issue. Also be sure that you have no other programs running at the same time.

Try using burn-at-once in Nero. Updates have been terrible from their side lately, so I advice that you wait until the final version is released

Hello! In Nero7, what option do you choose when burning your DVDs from Nero Express? I want to play them back in a regular DVD Player. I did this once and have never gotten it to work again...! I am working with a DVD + R & I thought there would be 4600 MB of space which is what it says. But then it keeps telling me it's too big when I try to burn as a My Video CD. I think I mut be doing something totally wrong/ Thanks for any help!!!
