Hi good morning, thank you for your response. I will just search the song and when I find what I want I just go to the bottom and click the save button and tell it where to downlaod it.

You are doing it from the Library window, with song files you have already downloaded. Yes those options on bottom of the Library window are for the LW audio player. Save As ... is for creating playlists. That is its only purpose.

So I guess it depends on what you are trying to do. Your Library files are files that have already been downloaded to your computer, else files you have put up for sharing from your computer. I am a little confused what you are trying to do. To directly access your audio files on your computer that you downloaded, select Saved Files folder & press the Explore button. Sample image here: Using Library Explore button to access downld folder (click on link) & the folder will open up for you. :) You could then move them to wherever you desire if you wish to move them at all (such as My Music folder.)

Hey thank you for your quick reply what I am trying to do is...I have a memorial page set up for my husband and it will allow you to put your own music on there. So I find the music I want on Limewire and save it to my home computer and then I go to the memorial page and the window there gives you the option to browse and get the music but it is limited to what it lets you access so I was just trying to save it to my desk top so I could get to it easily. But the player on the memorial page will only take mp3 files and mine keeps getting changed to that m3u file. I get very frustrated because I can't do it right. Thank you so much for your help.

Ah ... need to make specific directory mapping for each song. Well I have not set up a web page for quite some time & also depends on which software you are using such as raw html or a higher up web design software which cuts out a lot of the harder html needed knowledge. I'm sure nowadays there are tools around that would make it easier. (My personal web page did have music files linked. But it has not been online for years lol :p)

You might be able to ask on a forum that deals with web design about how to do it. Google around. :)

pro stability vs basic

Have had consistent problems with limewire shutting down every few minutes despite turning off firewalls, uninstalling and reinstalling, and making adjustments in the lime wire settings. Will pro version improve this?

no. I'd suggest http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html & deleting your LW preferences folder. :)

Did Not Help

This is actually the second time I attempted this process. The problem persists

You could try an earlier version of Java; http://www.gnutellaforums.com/genera...tml#post339821. Other than that, perhaps downgrading to LW 4.18 :)

???????

Bought lime wire pro and uninstalled old version, and then reinstalled. Redid JAVA. Also disabled fire wall. The program worked, though anemically, for 3 days. Now it cuts off more than it did before I upgraded. I thought tech support was part of the benefit of upgrading to PRO. The website just directs me to generic pre printed answers. Have I paid for software I can not even use?

Did you delete your LW preferences folder? :)
Tech support is email support only for pro users. ;)
