I was trying to get auld lang syne and when I tried to play it from LW my WMP came up saying licens aquisition and wants me to "click here" to see britney spears get spanked and join seekmo . There are explicid pics on the seekmo pop up box and it sais licens aquisition on the top. If I cancell can I still play my file? or will it cancell the licens aquisition. I don't want to do anything wrong as I live in the booneys and only can get dialup, it takes FOREVER to download. NE one know what this is and why its doing it??

if I click cancell the box closes & nothing hapens but when i try to play the file from windows MP it does the same thing. Should I just try to get another file, I don't think I want seekmo or zango installed...or do I?.. are they directly associated with limewire and if not do I report it to get them off or just say tough $h!t beller luck next time and try again?

Well, you got yourself either a faked file or that popup pictures is really from M$ and you'll have to look for a media player that doesn't make jokes with you.

For the latter one I reckon downloading the free VLC player which can play almost all media files without problems and without inviting you to the bedrooms of celebrities....

As a side note, to preview files with it you'll have to open the files directly from the Incomplete folder and not via the LW preview function if you have a LW version below 4.13.

I've downloaded wmas from LW and one of them required a license, and now I'm getting bombarded with porno sites on IE. I so hate getting porno sites. I tried blocking those windows from popping up, but they do anyway.
