Is it possible to share too much? I recently added my music collection and now my whole computer lags when i open LW.

It is possible. It depends what type of files they are, videos or music, etc. If you have many small files like music, then perhaps 3,000 would be the healthy maximum. For videos, probably half that number. The exact number will vary depending upon one's system & abilities but the above is only a suggestion.

This is a big issue for mac users. I wouldn't recommend above 2,000 for mac users.

I've certainly seen users who have shared 10,000 or more (via browsing them) but perhaps reduce the amount by per thousand until you find a level your system can handle.

That did the trick. I don't think my comp could handle all of it. I reduced it down to 3000. Just like new. Again thank you!
