If I am just using Limewire to download files, is it very easy for my computer to be hacked into and/or get viruses?

well....if you have no firewall you are open to many types of attacks, and considering your IP is up there for everyone to see, as it were, that could be a problem..if you download virii infested files, then again you have opened the door for a hacker.
